Great Dane Care
Do you love dogs, enjoy long walks in beautiful countryside? Are you physically fit, have your own transport and can spare a few hours every so often? You may be just what we need...!
As the financial crisis & recession continue to hold the country in it’s grip, Great Dane Care is seeing a marked increase in the amount of dogs being handed in, badly cared for & neglected. As the pressures on our services increase, the workload involved in caring for these magnificent animals continues to grow and our time & effort becomes diluted, meaning that every Great Dane that falls within our care receives less & less individual attention.
By very nature of our set up, the dogs at Great Dane Care are only able to have limited time to exercise, run around and behave like dogs. In an ideal world, every dog in our care would be walked and exercised on an individual basis every day.
Sadly, this is currently not possible.
Great Dane Care currently needs volunteers to help with feeding, cleaning and walking the dogs at the kennels. If you're interested in applying to become a volunteer for Great Dane Care, please give us a ring or drop us an e-mail. We have all sorts of people who come and help out in all sorts of ways.
From dog-walking to fund-raising, charity events to marketing, if you have a skill or talent, we'll bet we need it, so do please let us know so that we can begin the application process. But please bear in mind that you will need to be fit and strong to handle these dogs!
Please get in touch or pass the message on. We need your help.
