Thank You to Mark & Teresa
The officers of the Great Dane Care committee wish to give thanks to Mark & Teresa Bridgeman for their foresight in setting up and running the Great Dane Care website since it's launch. Their hard work now enables swifter re-homing of Danes as they come into our care and gives new owners a chance to share progress with all our charity supporters. The site also acts as an information channel, giving us a chance to publicly thank the many friends who help us.
Due to the success and increased demands of their business,
CPT SOLUTIONS, it has become harder to accommodate the increased work involved with Great Dane Care as the economic conditions increase the call on our services.
So the officers were most pleased to accept a very generous offer from Damian George and his wife Eiryl to help, not only with the website but also to assist the secretary with fund raising opportunities & charity commission paper work. It's wonderful what a new rescue Great Dane can be responsible for!!
So a big thank you to our trustees, Mark & Teresa for their work and for continuing to host the web site for us, free of charge.

Thank You to Keith & Emma
The officers of the Great Dane Care committee wish to offer thanks to Keith and Emma Kettle for the photos of the rescue dogs at the kennels. It takes a lot of patience to get a good photo and it's not as easy as it looks! Thank You.
With Deepest Sympathy
It was with deep regret that we have learnt of the passing of Kathleen Humphries in early January this year. Kathleen was a much respected member of the showing fraternity and a championship judge. The officers and committee send our condolences to her husband Ken.
Both of them have been supportive of Great Dane Care since it started and regularly asked about the Great Danes in our care, as well as giving donations towards the work that we do.
We are heavily indebted to all the people who donated so generously to our charity instead of buying flowers for Kathleen’s funeral. It shows how highly she was thought of and respected within the breed.
Great Dane Care will ensure that every penny of this money will be used to improve the lives of the dogs that come in to be re-homed.
