Great Dane Care

These are some of the beautiful dogs who desperately need loving new homes. Please call us for further details. We have several other Danes waiting to come in, so if the Dane you are looking for is not on the site at the moment, please  contact us anyway as we will have other dogs in as soon as we have room.

Rufus

Rufus is a well built castrated handsome fawn Dog. He is 7 years old, has been handed in as his owner has dementia and cannot care for him. He has been with other dogs and bitches whilst here and comes from a rural background in a small country village. He would love a home where he can be loved once more and enjoy gentle exercise.

Seren

Seren is a loving 3 year old merle spayed bitch. She has been very carefully trained and has lived with 5 cats, a staffie bitch and 2 yorkie bitches along with other small animals. She was handed in due to the owners terminal illness. Good with all people, although a little shy when she first meets them, good on the lead and a real sweetie.

Photograph to follow.

Rodney

Rodney is a 12 month old castrated black dog puppy. He has a lively lovable nature and has been taught basic obedience. Unfortunately he has had 3 homes and he came in due to a marriage break up. He has been with other Danes and a Labrador cross, dogs and bitches with no trouble. we do not know if he has lived with cats or young children. Rodney will need an experienced home used to teenage dogs, where he carry on with his training. Fully vaccinated, wormed and microchipped good on a lead.

Missy

Missie is a very smart 2 year old, spayed mantle bitch. She has lived with children, good with other dogs and has lived with cats. Good on the lead but a little shy when first introduced to a situation. She has come in due to an increase in the human family.

Bella

Bella is a delightful spayed harlequin bitch who will be 2 years old at the end of January. She is a good all rounder used to small children and came in due to the jealously of another bitch in the household. She would be better in a quiet home and has been with other dogs whilst here.

Dylan

Dylan is a substantial handsome 4 year old castrated fawn dog. He has lived with children from 17 months to 17 years and has not lived with cats. He was reluctantly handed in due to lack of time and family health health problems. He would be better with a family who have had Danes before and is living here with a great dane bitch although he was an only dog in his previous home. A rural home would be best.

Rolly

Rolly is an average size castrated blue dog who has just turned two years of age. He has had a poor start but is improving. He is good on the lead but would benefit from further training and time. Best as an only dog or with a large breed bitch.

PLEASE NOTE:
In addition to the dogs detailed above, we have other rescue dogs in our kennels who are currently being assessed. Once this process has been completed, we will post details online.
