Great Dane Care
These are some of the beautiful dogs who desperately need loving new homes. Please call us for further details.
Scooby
A very lively 6 year old who thinks he is 3, merle, castrated dog. Good with all people and other dogs. this dog likes to talk to you. Not lived with cats or young children but had regular exercise, good on a lead. Has come from a rural area, handed in due to a marriage break up. Would suit an experienced family with no children at home or with sensible teenagers.

Ruby & Baloo
These are a pair of neutered merles of two and a half years old, litter brother and sister. They walk well on haltis and are used to children from 5 years up to teenagers. Both are a bit shy but very loving and have lived with cats. Would prefer to keep them together if possible but would split as long as they could go with another sensible dog or bitch. They were handed in through a relationship split and employment problems.

Dougal
He is a black, strongly built, 6 year old dog who has lived with both dogs and bitches. He is used to outdoor cats and grandchildren. He is good on the lead and has come from a rural background. He was handed in due to the illness of another dog in the household. Would appreciate a loving experienced home where he has company.

Lily
She is a very fit 8 years old blue harlequin bitch who has lived with young children but because of a change to a smaller house needed to be handed in. She has lived with another Dane here. She will be spayed shortly. Would appreciate a country home.

Dave
Dave is a heavily built, handsome fawn, two and a half year old castrated dog with a docked tail. He would be a great companion to experienced Dane owner with land where he can be exercised. This dog sadly was never socialised as a puppy and has now responded to training and is much better on a head collar. As he has not accepted other dogs in the past, care needs to be taken so he can get to know them over time. He has lived with several spayed bitches here. He is playful and energetic. As he has been badly teased by small children, he needs a home with adults or teenagers. He's a challenge but is a lovely dog who really deserves a second chance. If you have that country property he needs then please contact us He will stay here until that very special home turns up, so sponsors are welcome.

PLEASE NOTE:
In addition to the dogs detailed above, we have other rescue dogs in our kennels who are currently being assessed. Once this process has been completed, we will post details online.
